Vizio SV422XVT

Cost: $1,199 (42″) | $1,699 (47″) | $2,199 (55″)

What to enjoy:
Vizio extends the possibilities with their new SV422XVT series. Not only does the SV422XVT have 240 Hz, TruLED, and the local dimming LED backlit technology previously reserved for the 55-inch and absolutely beautiful picture has led them to lead the LCD market in 2009. Also the SV422XVT eliminates the need for another cord, working on a wireless 802.11n connection instead of an ethernet cord in the back.

Third-Party Features:
The Vizio SV422XVT is the mother ship for all your application needs: there’s the social network links to Facebook or Twitter (so you can converse and share what you’re watching with your friends); movie streaming via Netflix, Blockbuster OnDemand, and Vudu; and music streaming via Pandora and Rhapsody (exclusive to Vizio).

Vizio also has integrated widgets from Yahoo, Showtime, YouTube, Flickr, eBay, and Revision3. Vizio is also going the extra step to support Adobe Flash applications, thereby allowing developers an open door to increase the amount of widgets in the future.

I did not think the SV422xvt will offer true LED. That was only going to be for the 47in and the 55in only. I just bought the SV421xvt and thinking about returning mine to Sam’s Club and exchanging it either for the new 42in SV422xvt or the 47in SV472xvt since i’m well within the 90day return policy. With the wireless N built into the TV that makes things much more attractive.
